God Will Keep You. Here Is One Reason Why.

Life may be hard right now. You may have people who are after your life, and you are so scared. They could be after you because you got what they wanted, they either perceive you as a threat or for whatever reason.

I want to tell you that God will keep you, and I know this because:

  • He says so in his word, the Bible.

  • You are the apple of his eye.

  • He has done it for so many others.

He is immutable, and he is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him, there is no shadow of turning. What he says is what stays. Like I said, he has done it before, and he’ll do it again.

Let me give you an example of how he did it for Jesus.

Jesus’ Example.

When Jesus was born, King Herod got word of it, which displeased him. According to the prophets, Jesus was the promised Messiah, and when the prophecy was fulfilled, Herod saw him as a threat to his kingship.

He made inquiries about where the Messiah would be born so that he would kill him.

He was determined to do it.

He commanded the destruction of male babies under the age of 2, and there was so much bitterness and wailing. Women wailed for their children because they were no more.

He thought his command would kill Jesus, but it didn't.

God kept him.

God sent an angel to Joseph to warn him to flee to Egypt to protect the baby; hence, the baby was protected and preserved.

They stayed in Egypt until Herod died.

An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and informed him that Herod was dead and that he should go back to Israel, and he obeyed.

When he went back, he found that Herod’s son, Archelaus, had become king, and he was scared.

He was warned in a dream by God to depart from Judea, and he went to the district of Galilee, the town of Nazareth. He settled there, and scripture was fulfilled that said he would become a Nazarene.

This is what God is saying to you: He will keep you. He kept Jesus from being killed, and he will do the same for you if you follow his promptings and leadership.

Joseph obeyed every word God spoke to him through his angel, leading to the salvation of Christ the Messiah.

An Example You Need to Note.

There was this guy in Kenya who had recently gotten promoted, and upon his promotion, he got killed. Before he got killed, he said that he felt his life was in danger after the promotion.

God tried to warn him that he would get killed, but he went ahead and accepted the promotion.

Follow the prompting and leadership of God like Joseph did, and this will save you. The guy would be alive right now if only he listened to God.

Please Note.

God kills and makes alive. No human being has the power to take your life if you fully trust in God and allow him to lead you.


He will keep you, and just like no harm befell Jesus despite Herod killing so many babies in the hopes that he would be among the babies, no harm will befall you.


Listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and you will live. God will keep you.
