Turn From Sin and Get Saved. Here Are 3 Ways to Do It.

Turning from sin is something that we have all struggled with or once did. We know of a person who wanted to give their life to Christ, but sin always kept them from doing so. I was once that person, and I wanted to give my life to Christ, but I was so captured by sin that I always fell back on it. Then one day, I did. God led me to him.

Here is how to turn away from sin and completely give your life to Christ.

Pray and Ask God for Help.

I was very candid with God. I went before him and told him to help me because I wanted to surrender to him, but my desire for sin couldn't let me.

When we run to God for help, he always helps. The Bible says that our help comes from the Lord.

He brought me to himself and changed my life completely. The strong desire that I had for sin, he took away. The more I prayed and asked him for help, the more my passion for sin decreased. Fasting also helps break down sinful desires.

There are those moments when I get tempted to sin; sometimes I do, but sin has no dominion over me. I am not a slave to it, and asking God for help is what has made it possible.

Pray, ask God for help, and you will be on your way to overcoming sin and giving your life to Christ.

Remember, it is not by might (your strength), nor by power (your will power), but by God’s Spirit.

Go to Church.

The church is a body that God has put together for a believer's edification and buildup. The church is essential for you to turn from sin and give your life to Christ.

It is in the church that you will get to hear the gospel through the men of God.

God has put in place apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for you. They will teach you things that you need to know about sin, how to overcome it, and salvation.

Paul and Silas, who were men of God, led a jailer to Christ. The jailer wanted to get saved, and when he asked what he needed to do to get saved, they told him.

They told him to believe in the Lord Jesus and he would get saved.

Listen to what men of God tell you (and confirm what they tell you in the Bible). You will get saved when you do—you and even your household.

Also, to select a good church. Go to a Bible-believing church like Parklands Baptist, CITAM, Full Gospel, etc.

You will turn from sin and get saved.

Give Your Life to Christ.

When the altar call gets made, don't get scared of anyone. Go give your life to Christ.

There is nobody on this earth who can redeem you, and there is nobody on this earth who can forgive your sins. Only Christ can.

Don't get scared of people. Only fear God, who does the impossible and will help you and be proud of you.

Surrendering your life to the Lord is the most amazing thing that you will ever do in your life. It is what makes everything you do in your life count. You shift from the kingdom of darkness into that of His dear Son. That is when you come alive, and everything starts to make sense.

Do you want to know how I got saved? I got saved in my room on campus. I gave my life to the Lord, and the following morning I went to morning glory and declared what I did. I didn't care about people.st wanted to give my life to the Lord.

That was the most extraordinary experience ever. God helped me give my life to him, and I have never looked back.

So when the altar call gets made, walk to the front and give your life to the Lord. If you want to do it in your room, car, as you’re walking, etc., go ahead.

You are changing your life without knowing it. The whole of heaven is backing you, and the whole of heaven is celebrating. You have become Team God.

Friends might find you weird or leave you, but you know what? You're team God, and true life gets birthed in you that you wouldn't trade for anything.

To Wind Up,

Pray and ask God for help; go to church; and give your life to Christ.

You need him more than he needs you.
